In August 2026, we closed on 19331 & 19335 Schoolcraft, Detroit.

2,400 sq ft, dual storefronts, with a long-standing local bar next door. This is the first physical commercial property owned by James-affiliated companies in the United States.

We chose Detroit for a simple reason.

It sits between Livonia, Dearborn Downtown, and Southfield — four affluent suburbs around Detroit. It is on a main US-Canada artery, with 50 parking spaces and a 1-mile commercial gap with no competition. It is next to Grandmont Rosedale, a community known locally as Little Africa — a real, vibrant grassroots economy.

On July 27, 2026, the new cross-border bridge officially opened. It now carries 25% of all US-Canada trade volume. Detroit is no longer a story of the past. It is the gateway for supply chains.

For us, Vancouver is our roots. Texas is our headquarters. Los Angeles is our partner hub. Detroit is our operations base.

19331 is where our US operations begin.

The property is currently under renovation. We will share updates as the build-out progresses. This is the first step.
